Abstract (EN)
In this study; drought tolerance of different doses of selenium (Se) applications (0, 1,0, 2,0 and 3,0 ppm) in corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt.) (K1-100% irrigation/SK/control, K2-75% irrigation/SK, K3-% Its effects on 50 irrigation/SK and K4-25% irrigation/SK) were examined. The research was carried out in greenhouse conditions, in plastic pots with a capacity of 11 liters, with three replications according to the randomized split-plot experimental design, with different drought levels as main plots and different Se doses as sub-plots. As a result of the research, drought stress; It was determined that all of the examined features caused negative effects at rates ranging from 2% to 59%. In addition, compared to control plants in Se applications with drought stress; 5-19% in plant height, 2-20% in plant fresh weight, 2-25% in plant dry weight, 1-7% in stem thickness, 3-17% in leaf length, 2-12% in leaf width and 1-13% in leaf number, an improvement of 1-8% was achieved in the YOSI value. As a result, it was determined that applied of selenium positively affected the negativities resulting from drought stress at varying rates and that the Se3 dose gave better results compared to other applications.
