Abstract (EN)
The study was carried out to determine the effects of boron and potassium application on yield, nutrition and quality parameters of radish plants in greenhouse conditions. The study was carried out under greenhouse conditions under four different doses of B (0.5, 2.5, 5 and 10 mg B kg-1) and three different doses of K (50, 100 and 200 mg K kg-1). The effects of boron and K applications on dry matter yield, B and K concentrations, other nutrient intakes and some plant parameters of radish plants were determined. According to the results obtained from the study, it was observed that increasing doses of B and K applications did not have a significant effect on the green part dry matter yield of the plant, the highest green part dry matter yield was observed in the K50B10 application with 1.90 g, while the lowest was observed in the K0B2.5 application with 0.87. It was determined that boron and K applications showed a positive increase on B and K uptake. In green parts, the lowest was seen in K50B0 application with 45.5 mg kg-1 and the highest in K100B10 application with 582.9 mg kg-1. When the fruit flesh B intake was evaluated, the lowest was seen in K0B0 with 32.8 mg kg-1 and the highest in K50B10 with 77.3 mg kg-1. In the fruit peel, the lowest B uptake was observed in the K200B0 application with 25.76 mg kg-1, while the highest B intake was observed in the K100B0 application with 88.01 mg kg-1. The lowest intake of potassium was observed in K0B0 applications. The lowest was determined as 1.65% in green parts, 2.53% in fruit flesh and 2.79% in fruit peel. On the other hand, the highest K uptake occurred in K200 applications. As a result, B and K applications also show a positive effect on vegetative parameters. While boron applications show more increase on green part length and SÇKM value, it does not show a significant increase on other parameters. On the other hand, K applications increased up to K100 application dose on SPAD, total fresh weight, green part length, green part fresh weight, tuber fresh weight, tuber diameter and SÇKM, and decreased in K200 application after K100 application.
