Abstract (EN)
In recent years, competition in manufacturing systems has made the companies heading towards better/best quality. And this situation has increased the importance of automated quality control. In this thesis, we described an Ceramic Quality Control System which uses Fuzzy Expert Systems to determine defect types on surface of ceramic tiles and uses Decision Trees to make classification of ceramic tiles. For this purpose, initially, we mentioned quality, quality controling and ceramic quality control. Next, we reviewed what techniques of classification contains, such as Artificial Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic, Expert Systems and Decision Trees. This is followed by presenting some sample studies which are realized by using The Classification Techniques. Finally, ceramic tile classification is achieved by using Expert Systems, Fuzzy Logic, Decision Trees and it?s introduced to software system was made.
