Abstract (EN)

This study deals with the work titled "Kenzu'r-Rumuz fi't-Tasavvuf" by Sheikh Refāhī who lived in Kayseri during the Ottoman period. The study consists of an introduction, three main chapters, conclusion and glossary. In the introduction, the rationale, importance, purpose, method and limitations in the context of the source are emphasized. In the first chapter, the physical characteristics of the work are introduced in the context of general introduction of the work and its language and style are discussed in terms of language and style, and the main topics of Islamic sciences such as Islam, tawheed, Sufism and marifat are briefly touched upon. In addition to the main issues of Sufism such as knowledge, intellect, love, spirit, soul, heart and abandonment of the nafs, the main topics covered in the content of the work are emphasized, as well as stations such as tawba, zuhd, patience, faqr, gratitude, tawakkul, consent, and states such as zeal, unity, kabz and bast. In the second part, the work was transcribed and translated into Turkish alphabet with Latin letters by adhering to the original text. In the third part, the text of the work is simplified and translated into contemporary Turkish. The conclusion is based on Shaykh Refāhī's comments on specific topics of Sufism and determines whether these comments are original or not.
