A comparative research of concepts related to love and wine in Diwans of Seyhulislam Yahya and Sheikh Galib

The concepts of love and wine, which can be called the backbone of classical Turkish literature, form the basis of the study. Each concept has been translated into writing by the poets according to their own understanding and dream world. The concepts of love and wine, which have an important place in Divan poetry, have always been the most important material for poets. The poets, who included these concepts in their poems with the most elegant words, aimed to express themselves with deep meanings. The main subject of the study is to examine the ways in which these two basic elements which constitute our literary culture were addressed. The divan poems of the poets subject to the study were searched and the related concepts were determined and examined under the separate headings. After giving information about the concepts in the introduction part, the poets' periods, lives, literary figures and works are mentioned. In the main section, these concepts are examined under separate titles. In the conclusion part, necessary evaluation was made in the light of the information obtained. In the bibliography section, the sources used for the preparation of this study were included.
