Abstract (EN)
Radioactivity concentrations of 49 kinds of plant, both to recover health and for sweeten to foods have been consumed and called curative plant, were examined. Samples were prepared by dry ash method and their gross alpha and the gross beta radioactivity concentrations were determined. Determination of the gross alpha and the gross beta radioactivity concentration in prepared samples were made by using ZnS(Ag) and beta assay plastic scintillator, respectively. Results were explained by considering the factors that effective on the radioactivity level of curative plants. The geological formation and soil type of grown region of plants have affected the factors that effective on the radioactivity concentration of plants. Results in the study harmonize with results of other similar studies.
