Abstract (EN)
The insurance sector is one of the key components of the financial system, where the pursuit of sustainable profitability necessitates the effective management of sectoral dynamics. In this context, employee productivity emerges as a crucial determinant of organizational performance, and one of the primary factors influencing productivity is the level of financial literacy among employees. This study investigates whether financial literacy levels of insurance sector employees differ according to demographic variables such as gender, income level, academic title, and employment status. Data were collected via a survey conducted with 296 participants working in the insurance industry. The findings were supported by descriptive statistics and reliability analyses. Additionally, Chi-square and one-way ANOVA tests were applied to examine the significance of differences between groups. The results revealed a statistically significant and positive relationship between financial literacy levels and the examined demographic variables. These findings underscore the importance of educational policies aimed at enhancing financial literacy within the sector and aim to contribute to the development of effective strategies in this field.
