Abstract (EN)
Azo amine compounds have been synthesized by using diazo coupling of aniline with diazotized aminothiazoles. The obtained azo amines were reacted with boiling squaric acid in methanol to give squaramic acides (3-hydroxy-4-(4-(2-benzothiazolylamino)phenylamino)-3-cyclobutene-1,2-dione and (3-hydroxy-4-(6-methoxy-2-benzothiazolylazoyl-phenylamino)-3-cyclobutene-1,2-dione).Chemical structure of the compounds obtained were determined by using 1H, 13C-NMR and FT-IR spectroscopic techniques. The UV-Visible absorption spectra of compounds in various solution were determined and examined.
