Abstract (EN)
This study has examined free vibration effect on the nonsymmetric thin-walled open-sectionbeams and axial loaded thin-walled open-section beams. Many scientists have studied on thistopics but have not provided adequately detailed and parametric studies about element shape, element type and cross-section features. The findings in this study showed that the effect ofvibration is great on element shape, element type and cross-section features. Furthermore, theeffect of axial load on natural frequences has been examined in this study.Abaqus software was used for investigating the effect of free vibration on element type andcross-section features. Whether desired mathematical models are simulated in thisprogramme, free vibration effect which we desire to examine element types and cross-sectionfeaures, is known clearly with obtained analysis.
