Abstract (EN)

This thesis, focusing on "Simplicial Categories," have five chapters. Firstly we discuss the meaning of the term "category," the need for category theory, and highlight relevant works in this area. In the second chapter, emphasis is on the fundamental concepts of categories, discussing specific types of categories. Functors and natural transformations are defined to establish connections between categories. The third chapter will provide the notion of a simplicial category, create the category ∆[n] ∼which is the category of small categories, and introduce simplicial group and simplicial algebra categories. In the fourth chapter, the concept of crossed modules ar addressed, leading to the creation of the category of crossed modules on groups and algebras. The fifth chapter will explore categories equivalent to simplicial categories
