The questionnaire form prepared to collect information about the demographic characteristics, health status and eating habits of the participants was applied by face-to-face interview method. The Three-Factor Eating Questionnaire TFEQ-R21 (Three-Factor Eating Questionnaire), the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale DASS-21 (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21) scale were used to determine the participants' eating behaviors, and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PUKI) scale was used to determine the participants' sleep quality.. The mean age of the individuals participating in the study was 34.79±6.64 (years); the mean body weight was 79.76±7.93 (kg), the mean height length was 175.39±5.61 (cm), the mean BMI was 25.97±2.77 (kg/m2). Statistically significant differences were found in terms of stress scores according to the number of daily meals classes (ꭓ2=11.258; p=0.004). Statistically significant differences were found in terms of PUKI scores according to the number of daily meals classes (ꭓ2=8.246; p=0.015). (Z=-1.980; p=0.048). A positive, very weak and statistically significant relationship was found between age (year) and PUKI (r=0.119; p=0.020). The relationship between age (year) and PUKI was found to be Deciently significant (r=0.119; p=0.020). As the age (years) increases, the PUKI scores will increase. In summary, as age (years) increases, poor sleep quality will increase. As a result, providing psychological support, combined diet services, increasing access to balanced nutrition and individual nutrition counseling have an important place in order to continue healthy eating behaviors in prison settings.
