Abstract (EN)

In this study, a history of the use of martial arts, especially Kung-fu in motion pictures will begiven. In its line of development, both martial arts scenes in other genres and the martial artsmovies themselves have grown and were enriched by new and creative perspectives andtechnology. However, the rapid development of technology, when combined with the Chineseculture and tradition that undermines Kung-fu, has resulted in very impressive but unrealisticmartial arts scenes or movies. In this thesis, it has been aimed to stress one more time thatboth aesthetic and realistic fight scenes can be shot as has been states more than once in thehistory of the development of martial arts movies.
