Abstract (EN)

Data centers are the facilities where server, storage, telecom equipment etc. operate in cloud technology. In an efficient data center, nearly 50% of the energy consumed by IT (information technology) equipment is spent on cooling energy. The most important area in which the data center operator can influence energy efficiency is air conditioning efficiency. It is important to monitor and control the system because of the reasons such as preventing the loss of energy by cooling over the system halls, efficiency of air conditioning equipment, efficiency of the room. In 2007, the power usage efficiency (PUE) developed by the green grid organization has become a standard for measuring data center efficiency. In this study, it is aimed to access the energy consumption of IT equipment, air conditioning energy consumption, temperature and PUE data on the web through the application made with Raspberry Pi in order to measure the efficiency of data centers.
