Abstract (EN)

It is very important to ensure the seismic safety of existing bridges and to ensure that the models the bridges to be close to the actual behavior of the bridge, in terms of preventing a potential earthquake damage. Five of Sivas-Ankara High Speed Railway bridges have been studied. In order to check the seismic safety of the bridges the vibration data have been collected from the bridges caused by ambient forces by the accelerometers Bridges have been three-dimensionally modeled and dynamic parameters were calculated. The dynamic parameters have also been calculated with collected vibration data by using the Operational Modal Analysis. The modal parameters that had been calculated from the 3d models have been compared with the modal parameters that had been calculated by Operational Modal Analysis. After comparison of the modal parameters, the response spectrums have been calculated as defined in the Turkish Seismic code. Linear Time history analysis has been completed by using the Earthquake data of 1992 Erzincan Earthquake and 1999 Kocaeli Earthquake. These earthquake data have been resembled based on the response spectrums of specified bridges. The bridges have been loaded with the resembled earthquake data and the seismic assessments of the bridges have been evaluated.
