In this research self-acceptance levels of students, who attend university by students placement assessment (ÖSS) and special aptitude test, has been compared.The sample of this research consist of 220 students ( 144 male and 76 female) departmant of High Schold of Uludağ University inseason 2007-2008.In this research, Personal Information Form in order to get genaral information about students, and Self-Acceptance Envantory in order to measure self-acceptance level of students are used. The result of the study shows that more than half of the sample have lover self-acceptance level. The hyphothesis which compare the self-acceptance levels of students, who attendUniversity by Student Placement Assessment and Special Aptitude test, show that male students have higher self-acceptance level than female students. In relation to education levels of students? mother, students whose mothers are literate, primary or secondary school educated, have lower self-acceptance level. Similar results obtained in relation to father?s education levels. The students, whose fathers graduated from University have lower self-acceptance level than the students whose fathers are primary or secondary school or high school educated.Also the research results show that the self-acceptance level of students, whose mothers have a high school degree, have a positif effect on Special Aptitude test other hyphothesis show no differance in self-acceptance levels of both groups.Key Words: Has Been Compared, Students Placement Assessment, Self-Acceptance.
