Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to go beyond the masculine-centered perspective in the teaching of history subjects in the Social Studies course and to include female subjects in the historical process. In this way, it will be ensured that students see the existence of women in social life and their participation in women's subjects in history. Students will be able to follow women's lifestyles and the stages of gaining women's rights in the historical process, thanks to the female subjects they will see. Thus, it is aimed to create positive thoughts about gender equality in students. For this purpose, in the sixth grade of Social Studies course; "Based on Turkish history and current examples, he realizes the value given to women in social life. Studies have been carried out for the acquisition of "Positive discrimination, economic, political and social representation, as well as negative issues such as violence against women". With the outcome, it was deemed appropriate to use the picture story technique in order to provide students with meaningful learning in accordance with the constructivist approach and to allow them to create their own knowledge. In this study, in which there are eight illustrated stories, it is thought that the students will stimulate their imagination with the writings that narrate the period from the perspective of women, and they will be able to develop their ability to mentally connect the past, present and future with the help of pictures.
