This research aims to examine the relationship between the technological literacy and digital citizenship of social studies teacher candidates from different variables. Considering the rapid advancement of technology and the importance of the digital environment in our era, it is crucial for individuals to develop both technical skills and ethical responsibilities. In this context, understanding the relationship between these two critical skill sets among teacher candidates can contribute to the more effective design of educational strategies. The research employs quantitative research methods, specifically the survey and correlational model. Within the scope of the study, the technological literacy and digital citizenship scales were administered and evaluated as data collection tools for social studies teacher candidates. These assessments aim to measure the knowledge levels of teacher candidates regarding their technological literacy and digital citizenship. The obtained data underwent statistical analyses to reveal potential relationships between these two skill sets. One of the significant findings of the study is a strong negative relationship between the technological literacy and digital citizenship of social studies teacher candidates. These results emphasize the need for educational strategies to address these two skill sets together and underscore the importance of integrated education provided to students. In conclusion, this research makes a valuable contribution to understanding the relationship between the technological literacy and digital citizenship of social studies teacher candidates. These findings provide an inspiring perspective for educators to develop more comprehensive and tailored educational strategies to empower students to navigate the digital world both technically and ethically.
