Abstract (EN)

The appropriateness of banners, brochures and book covers being used in printed advirtisement campaigns that Ministry of Health Nutrition Unit prepared between 2000 ? 2010 to the principles of design has been studied and its effect on success of giving educational information has been analysed. Advertisement campaigns with social content, analyzed according to the principles of visual communication. The solution of social problems by the help of informational communication messages has been mentioned. In this view, importance of social campaigns has been emphasised. A questionnaire form has been applied to the experts of their field about the banners, brochures and book covers used within the scope of the project and a list of data gathered has been done. Variance, frequency and arithmetic mean have been used in the analysis of the data gathered from the questionnaire applied to the group from which expert views have been taken. Campaign advertisement tools have been analysed quantitative with gathered graphic design principles appropriateness criteria. Acquired findings have been interpretted. As a result of the acquired data, ?appropriateness? of campaign posters, brochures and book covers to graphic design principles have been determined.
