Abstract (EN)
In the 21st century, with the impact of scientific and technological developments, new literacy types such as visual literacy, media literacy, information literacy and electronic literacy came to the fore. Along with the scientific and technological advances in the twenty-first century, paper-based reading and writing gradually gave way to screen-based reading and writing. Today, internet and mass media are of great importance in the advancement of popular culture. Considering that a large part of modern media is based on information and communication technologies and internet features, the role of social media in the distribution of mass popular culture products becomes even more important. Popular culture, the development and widespread use of the mass media shows continuous improvement. The Internet, to acquire an important place in daily life, has brought new cultural assessment of the area. Social media and popular culture of this article, all of these concepts have been evaluated.
