Abstract (EN)

Republic of Turkey has been established on a modern basis. In the institutions which have been taken over from Ottoman Empire, sultanate and caliphate have been removed and via these types of actions, effects of religion on the politics have been removed. Furthermore, by establishing religious affairs administration, it has been trying to affect religious life throughout the Republic's history. In this work; from the beginning to the now, effects of social and political changes on the decisions of Religious affair high commission which are related to Religious Affairs Administration have been examined. Decisions which have been taken between 1929 and 2015 have been examined from original text with respect to archive works and differences between decisions in different years on the same topics and reasons of them have been trying to be understood. In the introduction, concepts that are thought to affect the commission's decisions have been mentioned, in the later chapters, the decisions has been examined with texts.
