Legitimacy of the system in individuals with social assistance,authority and moral values

The purpose of the research is to reveal the legitimacy of the system of individuals receiving social assistance and to determine the effect of authoritative personality traits and moral bases on the legitimization behavior. Istanbul Bağcılar District Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation donated 102 people in October-December 2016 as a sample of the researcher. The System Legitimacy Scale, the Right-Wing Authority Scale, and the Moral Leader Scale were used to collect the research data. According to findings from the research, while the level of high right-wing authority increases the legitimization level of the system, the level of low-right wing authority does not affect the legitimization level of the system. However, individualizing bases and bases of consolidation increase the legitimization level of the system. According to the analysis of variance made, it was determined that the level of legitimation of women is higher than that of men. Among the age groups created, there were differences in terms of high right-wing authority, low-right-wing authority, individualizing bases, and baseline relationships. When the level of participants' education is taken into account, it is determined that the levels of the right-wing authority, the right-wing authoritarianism, the individualization bases, the binding bases and the legitimization variables of the system are significantly different. Those who have more households have a higher level of legitimization than those with fewer households. On the other hand, dependent variable levels differ according to the duration of the longest social welfare settlement.
