Abstract (EN)
In general, speed control is an essential technology in flexible fast driving systems. To achieve that it requests variable frequency and voltage supply. Even though there are numbers of the pulse width modulation (PWM) scheme is utilized to get the variable frequency and supply voltage from an inverter. It is less used than the space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM). The SVPWM method with supply voltage/frequency (V/f) control of induction motor (IM) is an alternating current (AC) motor that converts electrical energy into kinetic energy and drive is vastly utilized in the high-performance drive system. It is due to its characteristics such as high efficiency and good power factor. In this study, the voltage source inverter type SVPWM with three-level inverter using (V/f) control model design and implementation has been done through Matlab/Simulink software for the speed control of an IM. The proposed SVPWM for a three-level voltage-fed inverter, extended to the over modulation range. The over modulation strategy easily blends with the under modulation so that the inverter can operate smoothly from low speed to the extended speed range. The simulation results offer that the proposed three-level inverter reduces undulations in speed and torque.
