ABSTRACT BENCHMARKING IN SPORTS MANAGEMENT (COMPARE) APPLICABILITY OF THE TECHNICAL In theglobolized world graduolly increase of rivalry at the outside and internal market boosting qualityz and expectations of custumers targeted on improvement a series of different quality ideas and implementation of them for staying competitive or for increosing the force of rivalry. One of the important ones of these opproaches is colled as being the best of best in the corporations anol colled as benchmarking in the international literature. The goal of this study is evoluated by being bandled the benchmarking approach which is the science and managementterms of sport institutions manifesting activity in Elazığ city investigotion is evaluated as collecting and analyzing Benchmarking info in terms of sport managements and organizations. The population of investigotion has composed sport institutions in Turkey and the somple of investigotion has composed sport will be institetions in Elazığ. At he investigation which evluated as qualitative the comparison of services for sport and social instituions, the means financial data collection as well as the survey of participator of sport institution has been executed. The survey developed by Peter Taylor, by translating into Turkish from us has been made out its validity and reliability and found out its cronholpha value as a=0,816. The data being goined a result of investigation have been analyzied by using spss 21.0 statistic programme and the data being goined have been showd as a table by performing single variance analyze for frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean and multiple groups. A meaningful variation has been seen towards comperative survey of expectation and satisfaction of participators attending to sport institutions showing activity in Elazığ, when it has been investigated in terms of birthplace according to Anova Turkey Test. According to gender, in terms of expectation and satisfaction a meaningful variation hasn't been viewed. However the reason why expectation overages are higher than satisfaction averages is that. It has been viewed that the expectation of participators who was born in Elazığ city center is higher in comparison to the ones who was born in county, town and village. It has been seen that the expectation average of participators ages 25 and above is bigger than the other participators. It has been viewed that the satisfaction average of participators aged 25 and above is lower in comparison its other participators. It has been regarded that expectation average of participators who have a undergraduate and postgraduate education is bigger in comparison with the other ones. Educational groups stated that their expectation haven't been met namely, they haven't satisfied. It has been seen that the satisfaction average of participators is low. The expectation of participators who have the income between 1100-1500 TL is higher in comparison to participators who have the income between 250-500 TL. It has been viewed that the satisfaction of participators who have the income 2100 and above is lower than the satisfaction of participators who have the income between 1100-1500 TL. A meaningful variation hasn't been observed in terms of expectation and satisfaction according to the dependent variable of the age of starting in sport. It has been viewed although the expectation of participators who haven't taken place in clup activities is high, their expectation of satisfaction is far higher. Consequently; it has been seen that though among the expectation of participators coming to sport institutions in Elazığ variation has existed (p<0,05) among the satisfaction of participators, a meaningful variation hasn't existed (p>0,05) When compared sport institutions in Elazığ, it might be thought that in all of the sport institutions of Elazığ, many short comings has existed and a professional management hasn't been used keywords, executive sport institutions benchmarking, comparison.
