Abstract (EN)

The aim of the study is to evaluate the direction and level of the relationship between employees' perception of organizational support and task and contextual performance levels. Another aim is to examine the differences between the perception of organizational support and the task and contextual performance levels of the employees according to gender, age, professional experience, education level and task variables. Research; It was designed according to the quantitative research model, and a method for descriptive and relational scanning, which aims to reveal the current situation, was preferred. The universe of the research consists of the employees of sports businesses that prepare and present a profit/benefit sports activity program in Istanbul. The sample of the study (n=455) consists of participants. Descriptive form, Perceived Organizational Support Scale, Task and Contextual Performance Scale were applied to the participants. The obtained data were entered into the SPSS 24.0 package program and the analyzes were made through this program. Independent sample t test and Oneway ANOVA analysis were used as statistical analysis. LSD test was used to determine the difference between groups. Pearson Correlation Analysis was preferred to determine the correlation levels. Statistically, p<0.05 was considered statistically significant. As a result, it was determined that the employees' perception of organizational support was high, while the level of task and contextual performance was moderate. It has been determined that women perceive organizational support better than men, and their task and contextual performances are similar between men and women. It has been determined that the perception of organizational support of sports business employees in the 22-26 age range is better, but not significant. Age has been found to be an important variable in task and contextual performance. It is seen that the education level of the participants is not a determining independent variable in perceived organizational support, task and contextual performance. It has been determined that the employees who work in the managerial position perceive the organizational support better than the other employees and it is meaningful. It is seen that the duties of the employees do not affect the task and contextual performance. It has been determined that organizational support perception, task and contextual performance are not affected as professional experience increases or decreases. It has been determined that as the level of organizational support perceived by sports business employees increases, their task and contextual performance increases
