Abstract (EN)
The research aims to analyze the time management skills, life, and business life balance relations of employees in sports organizations. The causal scanning model and relational scanning model, which are among the general survey model, of quantitative research methods have been used in the study. The population of the study consists of coaches and sports managers in the European side of İstanbul while the sample group consists of 258 managers and coaches working in Beyoğlu and Kağıthane districts. Two different scales, which are the time management scale and the life-business life balance scale, have been utilized not only to determine time management and life-business life balance levels of sports managers and coaches but also to review the relationship between concepts. The data obtained in the study were analyzed by the Jamovi which is open-source programme. When the participants' responses to the survey questions are analyzed, no significant differences depending on age, gender, working position, and work experience variables have been found (p>0,05). However, significant differences have been determined when marital status, level of education, weekly working hours, and income levels are considered (p<0,05). On the other hand, when the responses to life-business life balance scale items are considered, no significant differences depending on marital status, age and work experience variables have been found (p>0,05) whereas, significant differences have been determined considering gender, working position, weekly working hours and income levels (p<0,05). As for the responses given by the participants to scale items, a moderate positive correlation (p<0,05; r=0,647) has been detected between the time management scale and the life-business life balance scale. As a result of the regression analysis on time management and life-business life balance, a moderate positive correlation (p<0,05; r=-0,642) has been calculated as well. Since the findings of the study are limited to sports organizations, analysis, and comparison of time management and life-business life balance relation in different occupational groups are suggested.
