Abstract (EN)

Objective: Although acute coronary syndromes are the most common and high mortality causes of the emergency department, an appropriate marker that can be used in early diagnosis has not been defined yet. In this study, we prospectively investigated the role of adropine, an endothelium-derived polypeptide, in patients diagnosed with STEMI. Material Method: Adropin molecule was studied from the routine blood serum of 64 patients (11 females, 55 males) and 54 completely healthy volunteers (19 females, 35 males) admitted to the Emergency Service of Namık Kemal University Hospital and 54 completely healthy volunteers (19 females, 35 males). IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 package program was used in the statistical analysis of the data obtained, and Mann-Whitney U Test (p˂0.05) was used in binary group comparisons. Conclusion: In our study results, adropine level was found 378,69280 pg / ml in the patient group and 281,91306 pg / ml in the control group. P value <0.05 was calculated. Therefore, there was a significant difference between the two groups. According to our study, adropine is a potential biomarker in ACS.
