Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to investigate the effects of boron from two different sources (water and feed) on the growth performance and blood parameters of Nil tilapia pups. For this purpose, nil tilapia offspring with an average weight of 12.51 g were fed in five different groups (0%, 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.10%) by adding boron to their feed and aquatic (LC50/20) environments. Group individuals fed with 0.05% boron supplementation in the experimental groups had a significantly higher growth rate (32.28±0.25) than all other groups (P<0.05). In the study, the best feed conversion performance was obtained from the group fed with 1.15%-0.05% boron added feed, while the highest FCR was obtained from the boron added water group (P<0.05).
