Abstract (EN)
This study has been carried out concerning Süheyl ü Nev-bahâr mathnawi that translate Turkish from Persian by Hodja Mesûd and his cousin Izzeddin Ahmed in fourteen century. The work is a mathnawi about son of the Yemen padishah Süheyl and daughter of the ruler of China Nevbahâr love. This study has been consisted of five chapters including Introduction, Text-Translation, Diachronis Meaning Changes, Results and Index. In chapter Text-Translation, Süheyl ü Nev-bahâr has been translated present-day Turkey Turkish. Süheyl ü Nev-bahâr is propertied with regard to idioms and proverbs although it is a translation work. When compared the language of work and Turkey Turkish it was detected diachronis meaning changes. This changes it has been handled under five headings; meaning changes (the transition to another meaning), meaning healing, meaning worsening, meaning narrowing, meaning expansion. In this study, it has been preperated Index and Special Names Index as a matter of convenience for readers.
