Abstract (EN)
In this study, Enderun institution during the reign of Süleyman the Magnificent is discussed with in the light of primary sources. This thesis contains information about Enderun sections, ıch oghlans, the officers and their superiors. It is seen that during the reign of Süleyman the Magnificent, Enderun institution consist of Has Oda, Treasury, Cellar and Great/Small sections. This study shaped accordingly to that. First chapter is focuses on the systems that are used for recruiting oghlans/students to Enderun such as devshirme and penchik, outer palaces and the great/small sections. In second chapter treasury and cellar sections of Enderun are mentioned relevant to subjects of their organization. Third chapter is about Has Oda, kapu aghası and kapu oghlans. This thesis frequently points out the issues related to sources, some of the data obtained from the mentioned periods sources are given in the appendix in a chart form.
