Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effect of pH, initial dye concentration, temprature, amount of biosorbent and equilibrium contact time on the adsorption of methylene blue by Pleurotus ostreatus and Elma Kabuğu were investigated. The data were applied to Lagergren, Ho-McKay, Weber-Morris kinetic models and Langmuire and Freundlich adsorption isoterms. It was found out that the adsorption kinetic is fitted to Ho-McKay and adsorption isoterms are fitted to Langmuire. Furthermore, isothermal data obtained at different temperatures for the biosorption of methylene blue on Pleurotus ostreatus and apple peel were applied to thermodynamic equations, and thermodynamic parameters such as (?G, ?H and ?S) were determined.
