Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the optical images of five newly discovered supernova remnants (SNRs) in the radio wavelengths - G282.1−4.1, G285.0−3.2, G289.6+5.8, G295.6+0.5 and G300.1−1.6 - obtained from the Southern Hα Sky Survey Atlas (SHASSA), were examined. The resulting Hα images revealed the filamentary structures of these SNRs. The comparison of SNR morphologies in the optical and radio wavelengths reveals that the structures observed in both bands are generally consistent with each other. The Hα flux values of each SNR were calculated and compared with their 943 MHz radio flux values. The morphological structures of the remnants were evaluated along with their evolutionary stages, and distance estimates were made for each remnant. The results obtained in this study establish a valuable basis for future investigations of SNRs using multi-wavelength observational data.
