Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to identify and weight the obstacles to sustainable supply chain management and to analyze the effects of the benefits of Blockchain technology in overcoming the obstacles. Barriers to sustainable supply chain management have been identified through studies in the literature and interviews with experts. The weights of the obstacles were determined by the Best-Worst Method (BWM) method, one of the MCDM methods. The effectiveness of which blockchain benefit can be used in overcoming the obstacles was evaluated with the Evaluation Based on Distance from Average Solution (EDAS) method, which is one of the MCDM methods. According to the results of the study, the most important obstacles in front of sustainable supply chain management were determined as "Resistance to new technology and adherence to existing technology, Inadequacy of green or environmentally friendly labeled products, Lack of environmental and sustainable supply chain management (STZY) awareness among suppliers and stakeholders". In addition, it has been seen that the most effective Blockchain benefits in overcoming these obstacles are Decentralization, Auditability and Transparency, respectively. In addition, it has been determined that Blockchain technology offers unusual solutions in overcoming the obstacles of sustainable supply chain management and makes it sustainable by filling the gaps in supply chain management in a beneficial way.
