Abstract (EN)

Within the Quality Management Systems, attempts are made to make correct decisions about the processes in order to reach the targets such as improving quality, increasing productivity and reducing costs. The Measurement Systems Analysis study is also known as measurement proficiency study. It is used to determine the adequacy of a measurement process. In the study of Measurement Systems Analysis, there are two widely used factors: products and operators. When the products obtained as a result of the process, the operators make repeated measurements on each product. Since it is necessary to understand the effect of a wrong decision in the final customer, ongoing processes and the potential causes of the variables affecting the product and measurement processes, it should be determined whether the measurement data obtained before any process evaluation or improvement work is reliable and the Measurement Systems Analysis should be performed. In this study, in order to reduce costs in an operation that produces perfume and essence, the types and number of faults that occur in the perfume filling process have been examined and it has been determined that the faulty bottles are the most common types of faults. Shewhart Control Cards and Process Capability Analyzes from the Statistical Quality Control tools have examined the ability of the products to meet the specification values. Since the effect of product variability is not observed in the process, the Measurement Systems Analysis has been applied to determine the source of the actual measurement variance and the locations where improvement is required have been identified. After the improvement works, the process was re-examined by applying the Measurement Systems Analysis and Process Capability Analysis again and the financial effect of the improvements was calculated. According to findings; the number of errors in the process has decreased by more than 50%, and therefore the profit of the company has increased and the sigma level has increased.
