Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to determine the surface morphology of red blood cells. For this purpose, white light diffraction phase microscopytechnique was used for three dimensional surface profile measurements on micrometer scale sample bodies. A white light microscope, interferometer and CCD were combined to obtain images of red blood cell with fringe pattern. Besides, continuous wavelet transform with Paul wavelet was proposed for the phase calculation from the fringe pattern. The reason of choosing the Paul wavelet that it has more than one degree of freedom.
