Abstract (EN)

The phenomenon of migration is a dynamic process that has different effects for host countries as well as migrants themselves. This phenomenon, which includes different perspectives, can pose various problems when it is not managed well. In order to mitigate or eliminate the mentioned problems, social cohesion stands as the very first priority among other notions that are due focalization. The relationships that migrants develop with the host communities in countries of migration and the attitudes of both groups towards each other can be the main source of all problems related with migration. Within the scope of this study, the aim is to comprehend the notion of social cohesion and its various elements of influence while measuring the social cohesion scales of Syrian migrants Under Temporary Protection in Gaziantep city. In respect to representing the Syrian migrants living in Gaziantep, a sample group of 400 people with different socio-economic backgrounds was composed. As a result of the research realized with this sample group, it is aimed to determine the differences between the social adjustment levels of Syrian immigrants and the individuals' various demographic information and opinions.
