Abstract (EN)

In this study undoped NaBaBO3 phosphor was synthesized by combustion synthesis method. Same methodology was also applied to the Cerium (Ce3+)-doped, Gadolinium (Gd3+)-doped, and Terbium (Tb3+)-doped NaBaBO3 syntheses of phosphors, respectively. Dopant concentrations were 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 weight% for Gd-doped and Tb-doped phosphor samples; but for the optimal concentration study 0.25, 6, 7, 8% concentrations were extra synthesized for Ce3+-doped NaBaBO3 study. Each phosphor was exposed to beta particle irradiation source 90Sr/90Y for thermoluminescence (TL) study. In the TL study, main TL dosimetry properties were investigated and determined in terms of optimal TL bandpass filter, optimal dopant concentration, linear dose range, behavior under various heating rates (VHR), and electron trap parameters, reusability quality to see how much detection sensitivity deviates. Additionally, electron trap parameters such as activation energy, vibration frequency, kinetic order were determined experimentally by conducting Tmax-Tstop experiment; they were also determined theoretically by using computerized glow curve deconvolution (CGCD) method for each material.
