Approximation of some generalizations of the SZASZ operator by the summability method

This thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to the introduction. In the second chapter, some fundamental definitions and concepts are given. In the third chapter, the approximation properties of a generalization of the Szasz operator were examined and the rate of convergence was calculated. In addition, a Korovkin type approximation theorem has been given for this operator using the power series method. In the fourth chapter, the results of the approach examined in the third section are presented for a different generalization of the Szasz operator. In the fifth chapter includes conclusions and recommendation.
