MIC MAC, ARC WELDING POWER SOURCE WITH BASE C LRRENT AND SLOPE CONTROL (M. Sc. Thesis) Zafcr ERDEMİR CAZİ UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE ENO TECHNOLOGY August 1997 abstract The static characteristic of MIG-MAG arc welding power source has been formed to be adjustable by means of an electronic arrangement, and a pow.er unit wich prevents dropping to zero of the welding current provides a specified base current, has also been obtained. It has been died to increase the welding quality by making the welding conditions suitable with MIG-MAG arc welding power source with base current and slope control obtained.
