Abstract (EN)

The concept of internet of things indicates that many devices will start to offer useful solutions for us via internet connection in the coming years. It is possible for our kitchens to be affected by this digital transformation process. The study, which is handled from this technological point of view, is based on a food processor that can automate the cooking process and prepare certain recipes in which more than one ingredient is periodically included in the cooking process. Wheat and rice are among the most consumed vegetable food raw materials in the world. There are many dishes that have a wide variety of recipes according to cultures and basically contain these herbal foods. Two of the most common of these dishes are rice-based rice and pasta from wheat. Especially for the cooking of these dishes in the lunch and dinner menu; Different solutions such as steaming rice, making pasta (noodles) shocked with hot water and spices are some of the products developed as practical solutions for the nutrition of the increasing world population. However, these solutions cannot fully appeal to the palatal delight in societies with rich culinary culture, and these products are not preferred. The food processor discussed in this thesis focuses primarily on cooking Italian style for pasta, and cooking pilaf in the measurements and recipes of traditional Turkish cuisine. With the design study, a structure has been created where the food processor will periodically include the recipe components of the selected dishes in the cooking process. Then, the hardware components (motors and printed circuit boards) required for the robot's automation were determined. The process continues for prototype manufacturing. It is planned to make tests and measurements by adding the necessary hardware components into the model prepared using a three-dimensional printer. It is considered that it will be a usable product for different types of food when supported by design and software studies.
