Abstract (EN)

Tandoori houses, which we will address as a synthesis of the construction, fight against poverty and woman's labor in our study, continues its existence in many provincial centers and particularly in the busiest places today. Tandoori house, as a construction, affects many workplaces around it positively and contributes to the development of social relations among many workplaces. This function of tandoori house is especially important for women who migrate from rural to urban areas, because baking bread in tandoori was the best thing they could do at where they came from. Women who use their labor by baking bread in their tandoori homes can thus get their wages in return for their labor and form the local dynamic of fighting poverty. Because tandoori houses, on one hand, provide the transformation and reproduction of the area, on the other hand, they function as an important buffer mechanism for women working in tandoori houses to struggle against poverty. In this study, in which we analyze tandoori houses, which have an important place in the transformation of space and fight against poverty, women working in tandoori houses in the city center of Muş will constitute our main sample. With the questions, we will ask we will discuss how tandoori houses contribute to the lives of women, what place they have in their struggle against poverty, and how tandoori houses contribute to the reproduction or transformation of the space. With the qualitative method, face to face communication and interview technique will be used together, and the findings obtained in our study will be analyzed from a sociological point of view.
