The Old Oghuz military vocabulary in the screening dictionary with witnesses

The vocabulary of the Turkish language is a very comprehensive field. Military vocabulary is a limited issue in the sea of vocabulary. However, the language of the Turkish nation, which has an army-nation understanding, covers a wide area in the field of military vocabulary. For this reason, we based our study on the Old Oghuz Turkish (XIII-XV centuries) period, one of the historical Turkish dialects. We have compiled names and verbs related to military service from Old Oghuz Turkish from the Screening Dictionary with Witnesses and classified these structures. Then, we tried to specify the origin information by explaining the subject head nouns or verbs from major dictionaries. Then we determined how many Old Oghuz military vocabulary could exist in the Screening Dictionary with Witnesses. By explaining the determined headings under 11 headings, we have revealed that Old Oghuz Turkish is an unprecedented field in terms of military vocabulary studies. Our study consists of four parts. In the first part, there is information about the general history of the Oghuzs. The second part includes the historical development of Oghuz Turkish. In the third part, there is information about what the vocabulary term is and the vocabulary of Old Oghuz Turkish. In the fourth part, the Old Oghuz military vocabulary in the Screening Dictionary with Witnesses is given under 11 subheadings. In the conclusion part, the data of the Old Oghuz military vocabulary in the Screening Dictionary with Witnesses are given in table and graphic form.
