Postmodernism against modern discourses in the sea of definitions

İn this thesis, the processes of modernism and postmodernism, the names involved in this process and the areas influenced by modernism and postmodernism are examined. This investigation includes the process starting from human history to the 20th century. Renaissance and Enlightenment affecting modernism and modernism affecting postmodernism were carefully evaluated. This approach neither excludes modernism nor transcends postmodernism. In this direction, the thesis will be a gathering study describing the processes of modernism and postmodernism.
