Work of Tāriḫ-i Ya'ḳūb Paşa (Linguistic analysis, text, facsimile)

In this thesis, a linguistic analysis of the "Tārīḫ-i Ya'ḳūb Paşa", one of the works of the Ottoman field, was made. The manuscript of the Tārīḫ-i Ya'ḳūb Paşa is in the Uppsala University Library in Sweden. The text used in the thesis was prepared from the mentioned copy/manuscript. Although there is no exact information about the date of writing of the work, it is thought to have been written in the late 15th century and early 16th century. The author of the work is Bahşî. There is no information such as the author's full name, date of birth and death, and place of birth. Yakub Pasha is an Ottoman statesman who held various important positions in Turkish history. The work Tārīḫ-i Ya'ḳūb Paşa, written in dedication to him, shows the linguistic features of the early period of Ottoman Turkish. The work is written with diacritics (hareke, Arabic diacritics) and consists of 134 pages, with 11 to 13 lines on each page. The work Tarih-i Yakub Paşa is a valuable work in terms of both its linguistic features and the information provided. In this thesis, following the phonological and morphological features of the work Tārīḫ-i Ya'ḳūb Paşa, the transcription of the text of the work is given.
