Abstract (EN)

Documentation studies conducted by advanced documentation methodologies have begun to be commonly used in our country in recent years. The digital photogrammetric which is one of these advanced documentation methodologies, is widely used in various domains and studies. The utilization of laser scanning methodology is rather newer in architectural documentation studies. In case of buildings that have complicated geometry or damaged buildings where detailed sensitive measurements are required, advanced documentation techniques have begun to replace traditional methodologies in architectural documentation studies thanks to its sensitivity and its rapidity in measurements. On the other hand, as none of these methodologies could be self-sufficient, it is proved that the studies where different methodologies are used all together, could give far more successful outputs. The important thing is to be thoroughly familiar with traditional or advanced documentation techniques and to anticipate which methodologies to be used in building or field that is under survey. These techniques are then evaluated by drawing a building base comparison. The advantages of these methodologies are tried to be revealed by acquired results.
