Historical evolution of typography and its importance for graphical design education

This study,is generally based on the development of typography during the historical time and relevant to the importance of graph design on education. Graph design has tried to make known of typography development during the historical time and tried to analyse the benefit of typography teaching.This thesis,is composed to prove the benefit of typographic scheme which is used to design posters (designing posters is a component of graphic design) . Also the graphic study on 25 cultural posters and on the typography (this typography developed during the history and with the effects of different movements) has helped to prove the benefit of the graphic design study .In the research, imagery and the descriptive narration model has been used. The modern art movements ; ?Futurizm, Dadizm, Constructivism and Bauhaus? and ?Swiss? typography has formed this work area. The 25 cultural posters ,which have been coincidentally choosen from the world by the pattern technic , formed the research.
