Analysis on the performance appraisal of employees' perceptions of the Central Union of Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives and developmental suggestions in the context of 360 degree performance

Nowadays, organizations, under the increasing conditions of competition, efficiently using their resources not only try to gain a competitive advantage, but also increasing their market share, they seek to have a better position in the market as well. From this point of view, managing employee performance, by using the results to focus on employers? development, is a strategic process of managing employee performance to organizational success. The purpose of this study, is to analyze the concept of performance appraisal from the theoretical aspect and define the opinions of employees working in The Central Union of Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives related to performance appraisal practices In preparation of this study, literature search and questionnaire technique were being utilized. SPSS 15.0 for Windows program is used to establish difference between demographic attributes and performance perceptions chi square test, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis analyses had been done. At the conclusion of the study, the opinions of The Central Union of Turkish Agricultural Credit Cooperatives employees related to performance appraisal were determined and we tried to determine the differences between personnel and manager opinions. We analayze the results of perceptions according to demographic attributes. Finally, suggestions related to the identified differences were tried to develop.
