Abstract (EN)

Since the existence of humanity, agriculture has started with gathering and hunting to meet the nutritional needs and has gained a different dimension with technological developments until today. With these developments in agriculture, financing is needed at many different stages in the agricultural process. Persons operating in the agricultural sector are called producers (farmers). Producers meet the financing they need from different sources and alternative financing sources. Credit cards, which are included in bank loan products, are one of these financing sources. Banks have added credit cards to their product range, especially for manufacturers. These credit cards, which are produced specifically for manufacturers, are different from other credit cards. In addition to monthly payments, differences such as annual payment and interest-free shopping with contracted institutions in some periods are designed according to the characteristics of the agricultural sector. It is seen that manufacturers choose the most suitable credit card for them according to more than one criterion in the selection of credit cards against more than one alternative. In this study, it is aimed to choose the most suitable credit card by using the CRITIC, ORESTE and WASPAS methods in the preference of the credit cards offered to the producers by the banks in Bolu. With the CRITIC method, the importance levels of the criteria used in the selection of credit cards were determined and the preferability values of the credit cards were listed with the ORESTE and WASPAS methods. When the weight values obtained by the CRITIC method are examined, it is seen that the most important criterion is the number of contracted institutions, while the least important criterion is the active interest criterion. According to the results of the ranking obtained by ORESTE and WASPAS methods, it has been determined that the most ideal credit card is the card specified as Alternative 3.
