Abstract (EN)
As well as the all branches of the construction industry, it is always desirable in transportation area to maximize the benefits in current conditions of the work that has been done. There are so much consumption in construction industry. Recycling in construction industry is the necessity for the nature. Concrete, asphalt, iron-steel are the mostly consumpted materials in construciton industry. These materials have got an important percentage in recycling operations. This can be listed as a long life and high strength according to the purpose of use in a road cover. Increase of popuplation influence that pointed above is also reflected in the traffic and heavy vehicle number is increasing day by day. Stone Mastic Asphalt coatings are being designed to reduce the damage caused by this increase and to increase the usage comfort. In the study, the use of EAF slag as waste material in stone mastic asphalt pavements was investigated as a grease in the enterprises producing scrap steel using EAF. Appropriatenes was investigated by comparing with natural aggregate.
