The issues analyzed by Taşköprizâde Ahmed Efendi in the meânî section of his work Şerhu'l-Fevâidi'l-Giyâsiyye

This article focuses on Taşköprizade Ahmed Efendi's book on the art of rhetoric called Şerhu'l-Fevâidi'l-Gıyâsiyye. One of the key concepts that make Taşköprizâde's work authentic is his in-depth studies on tahkîk - verification studies. Using this key concept, on the one hand, he determines the roots of the problems and how they were inherited from the past, on the other hand, he offers various tools and solutions for these problems. For this reason, the concept of tahkîk means the reconstruction of problems, and offering original solutions for them. In order to determine the exact meaning of "tahkîk" in the book, the work has been analyzed thoroughly, and all the tahkîk issues that have been investigated. The studies of the founding scholars are mentioned in the sources as a reference. In this context, these sources are included in the content and sources section of the work in order to evaluate the course of the investigated subjects in the historical process as a whole. Finally, in order to evaluate Taşköprizade's method of tahkîk, examples of some tahkîk problems in the meânî were given and a general analysis was made in the conclusion part.
