Abstract (EN)

In this study, dynamic site index models based on Generalized Algebraic Difference Approach (GADA) were developed for Black pine (Pinus nigra J.F.Arnold) stands in Taşköprü Forest Enterprise. The parameter of the model structures of Hossfeld, Lundqvist-Korf, Bertalanffy-Richards, Weibull, King ve Pradon, Chapman-Richards, Schumacher and Log-Logistic, based on GADA were fitted, by using stem analysis data of 132 sample trees obtained from study area. For developing the models, nonlinear regression and autoregressive analysis were performed. The most appropriate equation was determined by various statistical criteria. The best predictive model, Bertalanffy-Richards model (Model 5), produced the adjusted R2 value of 0,9734 with Durbin-Watson statistic of 0,3491 for nonlinear regression analysis and the adjusted R2 value of 0,9916 with Durbin-Watson statistic of 2,0420 for autoregressive modeling. Therefore, by this study autocorrelation problem born of stem analysis data having the characteristic of time series was solved. Besides, the dynamic site index model developed has performed appropriate results in term of various growth laws such as polymorphism, multiple asymptote and base-age invariable. Keywords: Site index models, generalized algebraic difference approach, GADA, autoregressive modeling approach, black pine
